In 1559 the family Menna built a chapel in honor of St. Michael the Archangel . The heirs , around 1900 , donated the small shrine to a school run by nuns . Unfortunately, the earthquake of 1930 and 980 , damaged the structure that was restored in 1992. The facility consists in one room and the façade of the church reads :
” ADMICHAC ( E) LIS AR CHANGELI LAVD ( E) M MOLEM STVOC TDIGE SANTVS OIICVS AD 1558 ”
On another stone reads :
” Di Salvo Tonj S. MICHELE OFFERS THIS FLOOR CARBURIZED 1932 “
