Every year, on the eve of the feast of St. Giuseppe, respecting an ancient tradition, bonfires are lit in several places of the country. The boys are busy from the first days of March to put together a great amount of wood. At about 20 he sets fire. People crossing the roads in the car to see and judge the largest bonfire. For some years, the club “La Torre” has launched a competition to award prizes to the bonfire.
The anniversary has always been considered a time of gathering of citizens. They in front of the bonfire celebrating the saint, sing to the sound of accordions and guitars and prepare roasted meat on the grill.
