The evening of December 7th, the eve of the Virgin Mary of Immacolata, is the traditional night of ‘Fafagliuni’, when the bonfire burn brightly throughout the municipality. The bonfires are prepared by individual families or by community. The tradition wants the youngest boy of the families turns on the pyre, recalling the pagan ritual of killing the “old king” by the hand of the “young king”.
