The festival in honor of the Virgin of Castle is very old. It is celebrated by about 100 years during the third weekend of May in the church of Monte Castello. Characteristic and very heartfelt is the procession of Sunday morning, followed by Holy Mass. The party continues with folk music and tastings of the famous “Baccalà alla Gualanegna”, a traditional dish of Morra de Sanctis.
