The itinerary of Morra de Sanctis begin at the Biondi Morra Castle, founded in the ninth century by the Lonbards, which over the centuries was the protagonist of many historical events and hosted illustrious figures.
The Antiquarium museum was inaugurated in June 2007, in the town hall, the collection focuses on the artifacts found in the necropolis of the Campo dei  Cerasuoli, part of the treasures of other nearby cities – Cairano, whose most important centers distributed along the high valley of the Ofanto (Bisaccia, Lacedonia, Nusco, Conza, Cairano, Calitri), in dell’Ufita valley (Carife), upper valley of Sele (Oliveto Citra), preserved here.
The itinerary continues with a visit to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Mother church of the city with a Latin cross plan, dating from the thirteenth century, whose bell tower has a troubled history. The church stands at the side of the Castle, in the city’s highest point. It was the place of the public parliament and function as the city’s cemetery.
In memory of a Padri Liguorini mission will be able to aim the Cinque Croci di Ferro, which replaced, in 1949, a wood cross that once stood on top of the Calvary, the point of arrival of the Good Friday procession. The new wooden cross on Calvary was put back in its place by the Morresi Emigranti’s association, on the 23 August 1989. High 5 meters, in Iroko wood, it was carved by the carpenter Mario of Morra. Subsequently Morresi Emigrants have built an iron railing, forged free Nicola Cicchetti, around the back terrace at the Carmine church.
The itinerary will include visits to other churches in the country, the Santa Lucia, the Montecastello and St. Rocco churches.
